From Dad...

A LIft Up
I found a dry fly in the drive. He was lifeless and lying on it's back. I thought it might go well in a Grandson's science class. II picked him up and turned him over. His "gills" started moving. I pitched it up in the air and it never looked back, flying off in the wild blue yonder.
So much for the science project.

Everything's a sermon, if not, we need to stay away from it. I'm thinking of the many people in the world lying on their backs in many ways. Sickness, family and financial problems, etc. We need to pick them up while there's still life in them..

Sometimes we all need a lift to get back to soaring again. The Bible says, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles." Isaiah 40:31

It's our job as Christian to help others up. "Waiting on the Lord" involves us. He gave us the job. Jesus said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

John 14:1. The word term, "greater" must mean in number. There are a bunch of needs and a lot of us Christians with power to help.

If we are able to help someone soar again, I can guarantee you there is no better feeling.
Your internet Pastor....Max
