Happiness . . .
The happiest people don't worry too much about whether life is fair or not, they just get on with it.
- Andrew Matthews, "Happiness in a Nutshell"
For most of life, nothing wonderful happens. If you don't enjoy getting up and working and finishing your work and sitting down to a meal with family or friends, then the chances are that you're not going to be very happy. If someone bases his happiness or unhappiness on major events like a great new job, huge amounts of money, a flawlessly happy marriage or a trip to Paris, that person isn't going to be happy much of the time. If, on the other hand, happiness depends on a good breakfast, flowers in the yard, a drink or a nap, then we are more likely to live with quite a bit of happiness.

Hey, you know I love Smiley Faces!
This blog is powerful and of course; thanks for my next blog topic. This is a keeper again.
I once painted a giant smiley face on the street in front of my rented house at Ohio State. One of my best friends was moving away from us to California and we wanted her to see the smile as her plane carried her away.
Love your wisdom Jo El
