I come by it honest....

My Dad used to say when we were growing up-"Im not gonna let a television tell me what to do"...
Take for example "American Idol" or some other popular show that comes on --you can pretty much tell where everyone in America is gonna be---on their butts in front of the TV...

I just dont get it---and hope I never do....there is a whole big world out there--and we are watching the "Box". Now I like TV--I kind of make my living in the business--and I have shows that I like---but I couldnt tell you what time or day they come on---if I happen to be in the house--or really not busy and I flip the channels and it is on---Ill watch...but my schedule changes a lot and I would much rather spend time on the baseball field, working in the yard, laughing with friends, going to the gym or occasionally watching a movie....

There are a lot of "Popular Shows" right now that I could mention--but Im sure I would offend someone...So, what I am trying to say is dont let a "Box" tell you what to do---

PS. and for all you Tivo people--its the same thing.

I believe if you are really living and loving life---TV just does not factor into the big picture....I mean seriously--just where does ANY television show fit into your 5, 10 or 20 year goals for your family and your kids...

Alas....he returns. Now this one knocks it out of the park. Tiny boxes hold tiny minds. I refuse to be guided/enslaved by the mass histeria the offspring of this tiny box creates. The sun is shining, the air is crisp and the world is full of family, friends and food. Housewives are desperate — stop coveting everybody else's and enhance your own; idols are rarely that american — push one for english, push 2 for spanish, push 3 for other — whether you deal or no deal; life will be dealt with. For all intensive purposes, the box between our ears gets more channels than the one between the rabbit ears. Turn it off and use more than one brain cell per hour.
