I believe...

O'Neal got this card at Youth America when he went forward to be prayed for....I have always told him I believed he was born to be a leader not a follower...This confirms that...He has the potential of the entire world inside of him...so, O'Neal --do what the note says...Because I believe in you.

Life Quote

“You must constantly ask yourself these questions: Who am I around? What are they doing to me? What have they got me reading? What have they got me saying? Where do they have me going? What do they have me thinking? And most important, what do they have me becoming? Then ask yourself the big question: Is that okay? Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.”

My first "CrashTest Dummy" Experience

Well after 24 years of driving--I had my first real wreck--First and foremost nobody in the other vehicle was injured-- just sore--Which is all I wanted--I kinda look like I have been in a UFC fight with Spider Silva--But a little glue to the cuts and time --and it will be all good...My truck on the other hand--Is pretty well demolished--Actually it folded up like a Slinky...The airbag didnt deploy--so my head hit the steering wheel and I really dont know what all...But I am very thankful everyone involved is safe and not hurt badly--While I was standing there bleeding---everyone started pulling up checking on me---It is a great feeling to have the best friends and family on the scene and at the ER...and for the record---I think I will wait a long time to do that again....really I ll just pass on the whole wreck thing for the rest of my life---BIG thanks to the Big Man upstairs for keeping everyone involved safe and healthy...

Dont Like Country---But Love this one

Was a smoke-filled room, was a Friday night
Talkin' to a sweet thing and having me a good time
When through that door, big Jim walked in
He'd been pushing me around since we was kids
Well, I lowered my hat as he came toward me
I heard him say, hey you, but never saw him swing
Well, he knocked me down on that nasty floor
But something felt different than the times before

'Cause I got back up like my daddy taught
Life's gonna hurt you but you brush it off
Well, naw you can't quit, you gotta fight back son
When you find yourself on the ground, you gotta get back up

I worked ten long years in a deep coal mine
Until the roof caved in and it broke my spine
They put up in a chair and the doctor said,
"I hate to tell you son, you ain't gonna walk again."
So I closed my eyes and prayed to the Lord
And then a fire ran through me that moment before

I got back up like my daddy taught
Life's gonna hurt you but you brush it off
Well, naw you can't quit, you gotta fight back son
When you find yourself on the ground, you gotta get back up

When my time comes and they lay me down
In an old pine box in that cold, cold ground
I won't rest in peace too long before
Heaven calls my name and my spirit soars
And I'll get back up when that trumpet sounds
Naw, there ain't no grave gonna hold me down
I'll meet my Father when that day comes
And it's all because
And it's all because
I got back up

From Dad:

Mama’s Apron
Margie went to the mailbox with her apron on. Two girls came by riding a horse. They asked her, “Have you got an apple pie in the oven?” People can sometimes tell what you’ve been up to by what your wear. That’s one reason I wear a smile. That doesn’t tell and makes them wonder what I’ve been up to. I like it that way.
Margie inherited that classy old apron from my Mom. I don’t have any sisters and I’m not the apron-wearing kind, for sure! My lady likes to wear it and looks really cute with it on. She’s always busy and puts a lot of time in the kitchen.
She “feeds the multitude” by cooking Sunday dinner for the family after church. The Grandboys don’t understand if she misses a Sunday. Their get a look worse than that “we lost the ball game”. Mimmy knows what food each one likes and fixes it. We know where good stuff comes from so we say Grace.
Their church friends come sometimes and are never the same again. They want to come back. I won’t describe all the food. It might “flang a craving on you” and you’d have to fight off jealousy. I’ll tell you this much, it’s a whole bunch better than those foreign food places that just wilt stuff. I’ve literally sat “on top of the world”, but it’s not nearly as good as seeing Margie in my Mama’s apron cooking a southern Sunday dinner.
